Mackenzie is at such a fun age! She has such a vibrant spirit and loves to crack herself and us up! She really is a joy to be around. Here are some pictures of recent play times!

We spent about a week at my parents' lake house and decided to go into town to visit the Aquarium in Atlanta. Mackenzie loved all the fish, especially all the big sharks and whales!

1st Birthday Party!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for the long absence, there has been a lot going on and we've been out of town more than we've been in town. I also get lazy sometimes :) So here are some pictures from Mackenzie's first birthday party!

Mackenzie eats a Birthday Cupcake!!!

Mackenzie's first birthday fell on a Tuesday, so her party won't be until the weekend. It seemed wrong not to do something special on her actual birthday though, so she went out to eat (and was treated to a "birthday sundae"). Upon returning home, she opened a present from Mom & Dad, then had a little birthday cupcake! (It got MUCH messier!)

Whoa!!!!! One Year Old!!!!!

My baby's growing up! I can't believe she's one year old. We're having a party this weekend but we did go out to eat and gave her a cupcake to smash (Pictures coming)! Mackenzie is now walking like a pro and jibbering and jabbering all the time. She is such a blessing to our family!
(Sorry this is a day late, but I'm helping with our church's VBS and it just sucks all my time)

Mackenzie loves Gus the cat! Gus just loves the attention, even if it's kinda violent (Mackenzie doesn't get the concept of gentle yet). Here are a couple of videos of them playing.

Mackenzie is Walking!!!!!

Mackenzie has been taking steps here and there, but on Monday she started walking on her own. She still is unstable but is starting to move pretty fast!!!!! Here are some videos!

We spent the very wet Memorial Day weekend at my parents' lake house in Georgia. We had fun despite the rain and freezing water!

I took these pictures off my friend Carrie's facebook page, so thanks Carrie! Well it's getting hot down here in lower Alabama so out comes the baby pools and sprinklers! We cooled off with some friends the other day and had a blast!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was my very first one to celebrate as an actual mother. Cole got me flowers and a card and Mackenzie got me a card and twizzlers. I also got to sleep in to 9:30 on Saturday. Ahhhhh, pure bliss! Here is a picture of Mackenzie and me before we went to church.

Fun in Pensacola!

We went down and visited Cole's Aunt Marsha and Uncle John a couple of weekends ago. Cole and I were able to go out to eat, just the two of us, while John and Marsha watched Mackenzie for us! We also went to the beach and just had a great time! Here are some pictures!

11 Months!

I really can not believe in one short month, my baby will be one year old! This year has really flown by! Mackenzie is a crazy crawler, I can barely keep up. She's also started cruising, holding on to furniture and walking along. We're gearing up for the summer. We've already been to the beach three times and we bought a blow-up pool for the backyard. We're also looking forward to the new splash park to open on post!!! Here are pictures form today!

Who needs toys?

I've been looking for a walk-behind toy for Mackenzie because she really liked the ones she's used at tot time and other people's houses. Well until we get one, we've improvised!

10 Months Today!

Little Mackenzie isn't so little anymore! It's all so exciting but also sad at the same time. Mackenzie is crawling everywhere (mostly places she's not supposed to be), pulling up all over the place, and sprouting four new teeth! She is such a delight to hang out with all day! She loves to smoosh her face into mine and open up her mouth. It's very cute! Here are some pictures from today. Thanks to Aunt Beebee for the outfit!
