So That's My Hand?

Mackenzie has found her hands and they taste good! She started sucking on her right hand about a week ago and then today, realized she had another one! Here are some pictures of those feats!

Video and Stats

Mackenzie went to the Pediatrician today for her two month check-up and shots. She now weighs 11 lbs 2 oz and is 22.5 inches long! She moved from the 20th percentile to the 40th percentile. She also got three shots in the leg and one orally. She cried and screamed like I've never seen when the nurse gave her the shots. I told the nurse she has one of the worse jobs ever giving shots to babies :(

Here's also a video on Mackenzie rolling over (tummy to back)!

Awwwww.... Two Months!

Mackenzie turned two months yesterday! She's growing up so fast. An example of this: this morning we were doing tummy time and she rolled from her tummy to her back! I think it shocked me more than her. I tried getting a video of her rolling but she was trying to go the other way and couldn't do it. I'll try to get a video soon.

Look how big I am!

8 weeks old!

Mackenzie turned 8 weeks old yesterday! Here are some pictures from yesterday and today. I've also noticed that she was drooling a lot and saw what looks like a tooth trying to come through her gums. I thought it was really early to be teething but she might just have advanced teeth!

All smiles for Mommy! How you doin?
Look how strong my neck is!

Hey Miss Mackenzie!

Cole found a song called Mackenzie by Borditional! It's really cool and the title of this post comes from that song! Mackenzie has been smiling up a storm (mostly for Mommy). Here are some pictures!

Mommy's so funny!

Bath Time (warning naked baby below)

Here are some pictures from bath time (and other random moments). I'm not sure yet if Mackenzie likes or dislikes bath time. She seems to just tolerate it right now. I guess we'll see when she gets a little older.

Full Term Today

Yea!!! I finally made it to full term! Below is a picture of me before I went to work! These past few days I've felt more than ready to be done! The pelvic pressure and cramps are starting to get more intense and I'm starting to get slower and slower at everything I do! Baby is still moving a lot and getting the hiccups several times a day!

Ultrasound #2

Cole and I went in on Friday for our "big" ultrasound! This is the ultrasound where they take measurements of all the major organs and can sometimes tell if there are any big problems. Oh and if you want to find out the sex you can (we didn't!). Everything looks great with the baby. All the measurements were right on and the organs were working properly! Praise God! The baby weights about 1 pound, 1 ounce. Everything else is going well with me. My Dr. said I have a boring pregnancy and that's the way he likes them! The ultrasound tech turned the machine to the 3d/4d for the last part and gave us some pictures of the baby (below)!

Guess What!!!!

Well for those that don't know (and there can't be a lot because of Cole's big mouth), we're pregnant!!!!! We've known for almost 8 weeks now and have told some people (most family and friends around here), but I've been hesitant to tell a lot of people until the risk of anything happening had past. Well we went today and had our first ultrasound. It was so cool!!!! The technician said the baby was moving around a lot (too small yet for me to feel it) and was sucking it's thumb. The heartbeat was 155 bpm. Everything looks good and the baby measured at 13 weeks 5 days. Based of my predictions the baby was only 12 weeks 1 day. So good news for us!!!!!! Below are some pictures from the ultrasound!!! The estimated due date is June 11-22!

Cole's Promotion

Cole was selected to be promoted to Chief Warrent Officer 4 (there's only 5) earlier this summer. We had his promotion ceremony on Monday. General Forrester, the commander of the Combat Readiness Center at Fort Rucker, was the one to do it. He was Cole's brigade commander when he was in Iraq the first time. I got to pin him (it's all velcro now though) with his new rank! Here's a picture!

Aviation Museum

My parents came down the other weekend to bring us a desk we bought on ebay and also to pick up some extra furniture we didn't have room for. We went to the Army Aviation Museum here at Fort Rucker. We had a great tour guide and learned a lot. Here's a funny picture of my parents!
