There is a new website where despairing, moral (I use that adjective lightly) liberals can go and spout out and prove to the red states that they too are moral. God help us if these contributors actually think that these are moral values. God help us that these people actually think the government is the vehicle for morality. Below are some of the contributions:
"Slavery is wrong. Forcing women to carry their unwanted tissue to term would enslave them for 9 months or 18 years. "
"The golden rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Also, Thomas Paine's statement that "My country is the world, and my religion is to do good." That said: Greed is bad. Cruelty to people or animals is bad. War is bad. Killing is bad. Stealing is bad. Deception is bad. Abuse of power is bad. Oppression is bad. The Bush administration is guilty of all these bad things, so they are very bad indeed."
"My moral values are:1. Quality public education for all. A right, not a privilege.2. A single payer health care system with coverage for all.3. The right to marry whomever once chooses.4. Denying women information about their healthcare, including contraception and abortion jeopardizes their well-being. Outlawing abortion and contraception would be a moral outrage.5. Kindness to animals. Treating the environment gently.6. Decent housing and welfare benefits for the poor. It makes no sense to not have these subsidies.7. Progressive income taxes are the most equitable form of income distribution. We pay a great deal in taxes, and we are happy to do it. It's the price of living in a civilized society.8. Income certainty and medical coverage for all seniors.9. Academic freedom, scientific research, honest intellectual exchange.10. Honesty in government."
The lack of understanding of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus are laughable. These people spout morals to help the poor and give healthcare to everyone (through the government of course) but ignore the human rights violation under Saddam and the Taliban. It's outrageous the hypocrisy streaming from the left. They have no idea what moral values are and it was obvious on November 3rd.

Ahhhh Thanksgiving!
As I prepare for Thanksgiving I am reminded what a great country we have here in the US. As I have my parents and my grandmother sign the Thanksgiving Guest Liability ad Indemnification Agreement, I am reminded of the freedoms that we enjoy. We have the freedom to sue anyone we want and make fraudulent claims against organizations because of our poor choices. What a great country! We also have the freedom to call anyone and everyone stupid for standing up for what they believe and how they vote. We also have the freedom of religion in this country, although we can't comment about the one true God in our schools and in public (it's also the one that this country's ideals were based upon) we do have the freedom to pray to Allah in our schools or any other made up god we want to. Wow, this is just great (my cheeks are hurting from smiling so much).
I will leave you with some wisdom on Abraham Lincoln:
We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved, the many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to God that made us!
Thanks be to God!

It's Time for the UN to GO!
Although there are many people that have turned a blind eye to the corruptions of the UN, the fact is that the UN has done more harm than good. Currently we are hearing about reports coming out about the extent of the corruptions in the Oil-for-Food program. Below are links to various articles that explain this plight and why it's time to put an end to this organization.

Kerry Concedes...Finally!
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush won a second term from a divided and anxious nation, his promise of steady, strong wartime leadership trumping John Kerry's fresh-start approach to Iraq and joblessness. After a long, tense night of vote counting, the Democrat called Bush Wednesday to concede Ohio and the presidency, The Associated Press learned.
Kerry ended his quest, concluding one of the most expensive and bitterly contested races on record, with a call to the president shortly after 11 a.m. EST, according to two officials familiar with the conversation.
The victory gave Bush four more years to pursue the war on terror and a conservative, tax-cutting agenda - and probably the opportunity to name one or more justices to an aging Supreme Court.
He also will preside over expanded Republican majorities in Congress.
"Congratulations, Mr. President," Kerry said in the conversation described by sources as lasting less than five minutes. One of the sources was Republican, the other a Democrat.
The Democratic source said Bush called Kerry a worthy, tough and honorable opponent. Kerry told Bush the country was too divided, the source said, and Bush agreed. "We really have to do something about it," Kerry said according to the Democratic official.
Kerry placed his call after weighing unattractive options overnight. With Bush holding fast to a six-figure lead in make-or-break Ohio, Kerry could give up or trigger a struggle that would have stirred memories of the bitter recount in Florida that propelled Bush to the White House in 2000.

I Guess We Know Who bin Laden Would Vote For
November 1, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Osama bin Laden warned in his October Surprise video that he will be closely monitoring the state-by-state election returns in tomorrow's presidential race — and will spare any state that votes against President Bush from being attacked, according to a new analysis of his statement.
The respected Middle East Media Research Institute, which monitors and translates Arabic media and Internet sites, said initial translations of a key portion of bin Laden's video rant to the American people Friday night missed an ostentatious bid by the Saudi-born terror master to divide American voters and tilt the election towards Democratic challenger John Kerry.
MEMRI said radical Islamist commentators monitored over the Internet this past weekend also interpreted the key passage of bin Laden's diatribe to mean that any U.S. state that votes to elect Bush on Tuesday will be considered an "enemy" and any state that votes for Kerry has "chosen to make peace with us."
The statement in question is when bin Laden said on the tape: "Your security is up to you, and any state that does not toy with our security automatically guarantees its own security."
That sentence followed a lengthy passage in the video in which bin Laden launches personal attacks on the president.
Yigal Carmon, president of MEMRI, said bin Laden used the Arabic term "ay-wilaya" to refer to a "state" in that sentence.
That term "specifically refers to an American state, like Tennessee," Carmon said, adding that if bin Laden were referring to a "country" he would have used the Arabic word "dawla."
MEMRI also translated an analysis of bin Laden's statement from the Islamist Web site al-Qal'a, well known for posting al-Qaeda messages, which agreed that bin Laden's use of the word "ay-wilaya" was meant as a "warning to every U.S state separately."
"It means that any U.S. state that will choose to vote for the white thug Bush as president, it means that it chose to fight us and we will consider it an enemy to us, and any state that will vote against Bush, it means that it chose to make peace with us and we will not characterize it as an enemy," the Web site said, according to MEMRI's translation.
