The LATimes has an
editorial article chastising the president for exercising, for doing something good for his body (my thinking, if it's good for the president it's good for America). This guy is obviously not a big fan of Bush and will take anything (and I mean anything) to cast a negative light on him. In a country where more than half of its populace is overweight, I think that Bush is a great example. Here's a guy with a super busy schedule (no one can refute that) and he still finds time to exercise, what a role-model! I say to President Bush, keep running, cycling, and lifting and ignore these negative comments.

Read the article in the LA times and it seems like the writer is either a huge Democrat or a "huge" man. Go figure. Maybe he should take a few hours out of his busy job (of critizing a man for wanting to improve and prolong his life) and exercise. It may improve his life and perspective.
I must comment on this one Beth!! I enjoy reading your articles, and I normally tend to stay quiet but this article really bothered me.. Not only is it important that President Bush exercises to stay physically fit it is also important that our Commander and Cheif take care of his mind. SO wake up LA TIMES, a strong healthy body results in a strong healthy mind .. and who better to lead this country than one who is not only strong willed.. (and might I add disciplined enough to maintain such a rigourous workout schedule.) but also one who is strong physically, Mentally and Spiritualy. What a stupid article and Lets not forget that the LA times actually printed it! They must not be getting enough exercise therefore causing an embarrassing lapse in judgement causing cloudy thinking.
Go exercise LaTIMES!!
