Happy Halloween!

I decided to have a photo shoot with Mackenzie in her cute Halloween outfit. We just went up the road to one of our neighbors and used their decorations for our backdrop (I hope they don't mind)!

Found My Toes!

Mackenzie has found her toes, well she actually found them a couple of weeks ago, but I just now realized I didn't have a picture of the feet/feat (Haha)! Cole also wanted to take a picture to capture the crazy hair!

Friends and New Tricks

We had some friends over for dinner the other night. We met Melissa and Brandon when we lived in Texas and we both moved here to Alabama around the same time. They have a little girl, Riley, who is a month younger than Mackenzie. It's nice to have friends with kids!!!

Mackenzie has been pulling things out of her bag of tricks all week! It's really amazing how fast they learn! She can hold her bottle (Cole gives a bottle of pumped milk if she wakes up before his very late bedtime), sit unassisted, and roll from back to belly! Below are some pictures of those feats. Meeting Great-Grandma

We were also able to meet with Mackenzie's other great-grandma and go out to lunch! We surprised great-grandma, she didn't know we were coming! Here's a picture!

Wee Lassie

This past weekend we went to the Stone Mountain Scottish Highland Games! My family has been going to these things for over 30 years! We were able to see lots of family (most had not seen Mackenzie yet). The kilt Mackenzie is wearing was made by my mom for me! Here are some pictures!

Stats, Sleep, and Beach!!!

Well, we went on Friday for Mackenzie's four month appointment. It went great, she now weighs 15 lbs 6.5 oz and is 25 inches long. She moved from the 40th percentile to the 75 percentile for weight! She also got shots and only cried right when they went in and then was fine when I picked her up!

We went down to the beach yesterday for Mackenzie's first beach trip! The weather was perfect and Mackenzie did great! Below are some pictures. She also had her best night sleeping, going more than 8 straight hours without eating. I woke up a 4 wondering what was going on :) I went in to check on her and starting pumping (I was hurting a little) and she woke up. She has a sixth sense about the pump! She then ate again at 6:30 and slept to almost 9. It was great and I was able to make it to Sunday School!

4 Months Already!

Mackenzie is 4 months old today (that 1/3 of a year!!!)! We go to the pedi tomorrow for shots and weight and height checks. I'm guessing she'll be close to 15 lbs! Here are some pictures from today!

Little Gifts

Cole's company put together a gift basket for Mackenzie full of fun goodies! Here she is modeling her new bib! (In case you don't know that's a Chinook helicopter below her name)

3 Months Old Today!!!!!

Our little girl is 3 months old today! She's really filling out (go down a ways and see her one month picture)! She gets cuter every day!

Water Baby!!!

We spent the labor day weekend at my parent's lake house! It was Mackenzie's first time away from home and her first time swimming! She really likes being in the water and cried when she had to get out :( Here are some pictures of her in her bathing suit (thanks Aunt Beebee).

So That's My Hand?

Mackenzie has found her hands and they taste good! She started sucking on her right hand about a week ago and then today, realized she had another one! Here are some pictures of those feats!

Video and Stats

Mackenzie went to the Pediatrician today for her two month check-up and shots. She now weighs 11 lbs 2 oz and is 22.5 inches long! She moved from the 20th percentile to the 40th percentile. She also got three shots in the leg and one orally. She cried and screamed like I've never seen when the nurse gave her the shots. I told the nurse she has one of the worse jobs ever giving shots to babies :(

Awwwww.... Two Months!

Mackenzie turned two months yesterday! She's growing up so fast. An example of this: this morning we were doing tummy time and she rolled from her tummy to her back! I think it shocked me more than her. I tried getting a video of her rolling but she was trying to go the other way and couldn't do it. I'll try to get a video soon.

8 weeks old!

Mackenzie turned 8 weeks old yesterday! Here are some pictures from yesterday and today. I've also noticed that she was drooling a lot and saw what looks like a tooth trying to come through her gums. I thought it was really early to be teething but she might just have advanced teeth!
