Saddam Hussein Did Much Worse

I'm sure you've heard about the Abu Ghriab "torture" incidents and seen the pictures. Well the trial of the so-called ring leader, Spc Graner, is ongoing now right down the road here in Ft. Hood. Yesterday, former inmates testified to their treatment while at Abu Ghraib, saying about the torture that "even Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein did not do such things." No all he did was murder and rape hundreds of thousands of people. If only this kind of torture, that has been the focus of the main stream media since the pictures came out, was all that Saddam did.

Are you a liberal Bubaker? You sound like one. Yes, two wrongs don't make a right and that is why all the US soldiers accused of "abuse" are standing trial. You may want it to go much "deeper" but it doesn't. The real problem with our military is the liberal idealism that has krept into it. At least when the Nazis were put on trial the jury had the common sense not to find any excuse to set them free like the liberals are trying to find for Saddam and the captured Terrorists. I bet you believe that the terrorists are entitled to the Geneva Convention too.

I never said that what was done at Abu Ghriab was right, but to compare it with what went on under Saddam is absurd. There is no comparison!
